We held a contest again this year encouraging students to create art for our Digital Citizenship Calendar with February 28th, 2020 as a deadline. We asked each student to create an original art piece on the topic of Online Safety.

We received over 100 entries from students all over the GST region. The students represented all of the Grade levels from Grade 3 to Grade 12. The art was submitted by 11 teachers from 7 GST Component School Districts (Campbell-Savona Central School District, Corning-Painted Post Area School District, Elmira City School District, Elmira Heights Central School District, Horseheads Central School District, Spencer-Van Etten Central School District, and Watkins Glen Central School District).

After the contest deadline, our Digital Citizenship Committee met and reviewed the Art, identified only by the title of art, first name, and grade level of the artist. The committee then chose 12 pieces of art, one to be displayed with each month of the Calendar.

And without any further delay… Here are the winning pieces!
